"My roots are deeply planted in the popular arts. Drew Struzan's influence and unspoken teachings have guided me into a much larger world of imagination and appreciation. All of these works are imitations of much more experienced artists and men, and I'm not ashamed of that fact. I think you've got to embrace your influences so you can get close enough to them to learn what you need to learn, and then move upwards and onwards. I'm not so sure I'm ready to abandon Indy yet though, I'll just save the original and compelling work for when I have something to say. ;) Keep the adventure alive!"
