00:30 by Les The latest trailer for the new series from HBO that will
premiere in 2011 - 'Game of Thrones' (based on the beloved
series 'A Song of Ice and Fire' by George R.R. Martin).
I've been a fan since it was first published and I recommend it
highly. We will continue to cover this series as the clock counts
down to it's premiere next year.

Indiana Jones and the Lost Treasures was a magazine published
in the UK during 2008-2009. It was to be published every fortnight
and included historical information in an adventurers magazine
that also mixed in puzzles, comics and games. Each issue would
also come with a high-end collectible relic.
Issue
#1 came in a cardboard sleeve that held the magazine as well as
a replica Egyptian Death Mask and a cloth Treasure pouch. It sold
for a discounted £1.99 to entice new readers to give it a
shot.
Issue
#2 also came in a cardboard sleeve that held the magazine along
with a Crystal Skull miniature and a (well constructed) Treasure
Box. It sold for £3.99.
Subscribers
would also have received (as a bonus) the DVD Trilogy, 3-D poster,
a magazine holder and a board game. The brochure above shows they
had at least 8 issues planned out.
To the best
of my knowledge no other issues were made after #2 - but I'm still
digging to find out as much as I can about these very cool collectibles.
Updates to follow ....
