The
latest tweet from the @lucasartsgames
profile on Twitter announced that Lego
Indiana Jones 2 will be receiving Online Multi-player support
in the upcoming weeks.
“I’ve
noticed everyone wants online co-op with Lego
Indy 2. Give it a few weeks – we’re working on
a patch for 360 and PS3 as I type this!” was posted
on the account yesterday.
This is great
news for fans of the game as Lego
Indy 2 lends itself naturally to online play. The game normally
requires a minimum of two on-screen characters to solve puzzles,
one controlled by the computer, and the other by the player. Co-op
would afford the opportunity for friends to tackle levels together
online if you’ve got no one to play with at home.
There
was no word regarding online sharing of levels from the game’s
level builder system – the first of its kind for a Lego
game. However, I would imagine that if online co-op is on it's
way, then level sharing won’t be far behind!

From
Sideshow Collectibles -
"You’ll
see a pause in the Indiana Jones 12-inch line after Henry Jones.
Our development team is in the midst of evaluating TOD characters
(including Indy) for production, including considerations like
collaboration with Hot Toys for muscle bodies. It may take us
some time to fully answer this question, but it is an active
discussion.
In the
meantime, we have some truly wonderful TOD Premium Format figures
in development, and we’re eager to show you more. Stay
tuned!."
