Fedora Smith
builds replicas and nick-nacks based on the Star Wars, Lord
of the Rings and Indiana Jones films. What we’re
most interested in, though, are his replica items from classic 1992
adventure game Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis.
Smith has recreated the Atlantean horned idol, Indy’s journal
from the game, the World Stone, Mrs. Hapgood’s medallion and
even some of those powerful little beads. The
best part? You can actually buy some of it, as he’s selling
the medallion and idol on his website.

A new two
two-figure set featuring Mickey Mouse and Goofy playing Indiana
Jones and Sallah respectively is coming to Disney Parks this Fall.
The set will also come with a few accessories like the infamous
Ark from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Disney Character Artist
Casey Jones was responsible for drawing Goofy as Sallah.

Disney Character Artist Mike Sullivan shares a first look at artwork
for a new Disney Parks bank scheduled for release in January 2012.
“This new bank features Mickey Mouse playing the role of Indiana
Jones,” said Mike. “The unique element to this
bank is that it features stylized icons that represent each of the
four Indiana Jones films.” |

While
away on a shopping road trip I stumbled across this at a Hallmark
Gold Crown store - a new Father's Day card (dated 2011 on the
back). Although the slogan is the same as used on the 2008 card,
the image is a different one from Temple of Doom and the card
is rectangular (while the 2008 was square).
