Posted 18:00 by Les LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures was released
in North American stores today. Available for Wii, PSP, PS2, PS3,
DS, X360 and PC.
LEGO Indiana
Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative
construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and
non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled
audiences everywhere (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and
the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With
a humorous take on these original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones
follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America
to the mountaintops of India where you will build, battle and
brawl your way through your favorite moments, from Indy's entanglements
with snakes to his dashing boulder run. And with the help of a
host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short
Round, players can also mix and match the body parts of more than
60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could
in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars games.

John T. writes in with this fun tid-bit -
This
year, Hallmark has many Indiana Jones products, from party supplies
to Christmas decorations. This week, Hallmark is featuring new
e-cards with scenes from Raiders and Last Crusade.
There are three for Indiana Jones (two for birthdays, one for
Father's Day) and one for Star Wars featuring Harrison Ford
(anniversary). The Indiana Jones are very funny, especially
the Tanis card, and the Star Wars one is appropriately romantic.

Mike Bencic has this contribution to the site today -
I am
a pro writer and artist based in Canada. I recently created
a video review of Hasbro's Indiana Jones toy line (with the
kind contribution of Hasbro Canada) and would like to offer
the link to you. I would be honored if you shared it with your
readers. I promise you this isn't a video review like many others
on the net. This one features beautiful photography, and my
exceptional personality. :)

recently posted a great story about trying to spend the day eating
nothing but Indiana Jones food products. Here's an excerpt -
In honor
of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (opening
today) I decided that I would eat nothing but Indiana Jones-branded
foods all day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There will be no
time for love, Dr. Jones, because I have a digestive system
I need to strain to its breaking point.
For
breakfast, I started out with the official Indiana Jones cereal.
Essentially bargain basement Cocoa Puffs, the Indy cereal also
had some of the vaguest cereal marshmallows I've ever seen......
